Our Superseed Bread Mixes
Making a beautiful loaf at home is made up of a few simple variables. Once you understand the ingredients and technique, consistency flows.
Superseed Bread Mix — we recommend starting with Pumpkin Seed.
A loaf pan and spatula — a standard ½ lb loaf pan works beautifully. If you prefer, muffin tins make excellent personal-sized bites. We love Gir spatulas for shaping.
Oil and sweetener of your choosing — try Brightland Olive Oil and Good Honey, or utilize what you already have at home. Coconut oil, avocado oil, maple syrup, or coconut sugar all work.
1. Combine your dry ingredients.
Pour your dry, pre-mixed ingredients into a medium bowl.
Give them an extra stir to ensure the smaller inclusions —
chia seed, flax, psyllium — are evenly distributed throughout.
2. Mix your wet ingredients.
In a separate bowl or glass, combine: water, oil, and
sweetener (if using liquid like honey or maple syrup).
3. Bring them together.
Pour your wet ingredients into your dry ingredients.
Stir for 2-3 minutes, until the consistency thickens
into a firm, shapeable dough.
The psyllium, chia, and flax act as binders. If you stir for
too short a time, the batter will be too loose and malleable.
If you stir for too long, it may become stiff and inflexible.
You're looking for that perfect middle way — a dough that holds
its shape but still moves with the spatula.
4. Transfer to your pan.
Place the dough into your loaf pan or muffin tin and spread it evenly
across the bottom. Use your spatula to smooth the surface.
5. Shape
Shaping is a technique that brings life and beauty to the loaf.
It's really up to you, but we enjoy pulling the sides in towards
the middle to create roundness along the top.

Unlike traditional yeasted breads, our superseed loaves do not rise during baking.
How you shape it now is how it will look when it comes out of the oven.
This is your moment to make it yours.
6. Bake
Oven temp: 375°F. Time: 45-60 minutes, or until the middle is fully set.
You're looking for: a golden, browned crust, a firm center (test with
a toothpick — it should come out clean). The loaf may seem slightly
underdone when it first comes out, but it will continue to set as it cools.
7. Rest
Let the loaf rest in the pan for 10-15 minutes before removing.
This allows the structure to firm up and makes slicing cleaner.
